The Polish critic and writer Ludwik Flaszen died in Paris on 24 October 2020. He was also a protagonist of 20th century theatre. This article is a profound reflection on the intellectual importance of Ludwik Flaszen, founder with Jerzy Grotowski of the famous theatre laboratory in Opole and Wroclaw.
